Dear Friends,
We send you our love and wish you a merry Christmas and happy New Year.
A few highlights from 2023:
Esther (3) loves wearing her older sister’s clothes, “reading” I Spy Super Challenger before bed, and demonstrating her Bahstonian bona fides most days by requesting a donut from Dunks.
Beata (6) creates homemade greeting cards for every occasion, delights in her gymnastics class, and is right smack-dab in the middle of a scatalogical humor phase.
Ari (11) is a thriving member of the St. Paul’s Choir School and even sang for Pope Francis in April. Sorry Swifties, this boy prefers Fauré.
Mariya has kicked off a wellness journey with weekly body pump classes and polar plunge sessions. She’s always writing stories (this one is great) and daydreams about going back to the beach in Antibes.
Zach has mainly been wayfaring, restoring and illuminating and daydreams about going back to Taizé.
We are so grateful for your friendship and pray that you feel peace, joy and hope this season and throughout the coming year.
With warmest wishes,
Zach and Mariya
P.S. We’d love to hear from you! Write us back by replying to this message or email us zacharysdavis@gmail.com and mariya.manzhos@gmail.com.
Invitation to Julbord
For those in New England, please join us Dec 9th for our annual Scandinavian Christmas party, Julbord. Mountains of Ikea meatballs, herring (it’s good!), glögg, live music by Norwegian Berklee students, and plenty of good cheer. Snälla kom!
HEART.
Thanks for the beautiful update--wish we could join you to celebrate Julbord, sounds like a wonderful tradition. Warm greetings from Charlottesville. --Ryan
